...by the news media?
Washington Post has reported that he has told more lies and falsehoods this month than in previous months. He's getting worse - not better.
They cannot forget.
This is not "normal".
And it cannot be acceptable.

(14,565 posts)I've argued since early in his presidency that he can remain exactly the same yet his approval rating will steadily rise.
The shock and disgust wears off. People look at their daily lives and if they view things as acceptable they shrug and say maybe Trump is not so bad after all.
One year from now I think today's 42% approval rating will be closer to 45-46%, even if Trump continues to lie at accelerated pace.
I said the same thing last November when Trump was at 38%. If there is one thing I can apply well, it is situational influence along big picture terms. Most people seem to struggle with that and place far too much emphasis on today. I'll continue to assert that the best method to predict accurately is to always ignore today. New variables generally mean nothing.

(1,474 posts)entire worthless life with no accountability. It seems the more abhorrent his behavior, the lesser the impact it has on his minions. He is their depraved super hero as in "look at what he does and gets away with and I wish I could do the same but I gotta work two jobs to sorta make ends meet".
