I will never forget that historic moment and how proud I was that I could cast my vote (twice) for him.

After the election had been called, some of my friends and I drove around town. There were jubilant people everywhere. We even snuck in to a Democratic watch party. The excitement there and all over town was electric, and the joy, the feelings of hope was contagious. I've rarely experienced anything like that.

The result became clear pretty fast but I think it overwhelmed me when Florida was called.

I'm off to vote to expand Medicaid, I doubt it passes, but I can have hope. The rest of the races in this red state will be blowouts.
