We suffered a fall from the greatest heights to the lowest depths.
You are right. Going from 1st place to last place so to speak.

(4,723 posts)After the election had been called, some of my friends and I drove around town. There were jubilant people everywhere. We even snuck in to a Democratic watch party. The excitement there and all over town was electric, and the joy, the feelings of hope was contagious. I've rarely experienced anything like that.
