Earlier, when he saw Gillum wasn't winning by 5%, he lost hope in all the other polls favoring Democrats, thus changed his forecast to no blue wave. He recovered a little when he showed up about an hour later as other Dem victories came in.

I get that he wanted more, so did I, but I'm content with where we landed. He just felt out of the loop to me, nothing more or less. Maybe he was too emotionally involved at first? I've seen that from a lot of people I know personally tonight deep in the party. They had favorites they wanted to win and they let it shade the rest of the night when some didn't. I find that extremely short sighted, but to each their own.

Florida was a disappointing tonight. I suspect he's one of those who expected more from the state. I hoped for more myself, but I didn't bank on it. It's a massive mixed bag anymore.

On a personal level, I think we need to be realistic. Florida is only purple in specific regions anymore. Stop expecting better from there and move on and address the changing demographics in other states that favor Dems. That's my advice to the party.
