Lamont (D) has retaken lead for CT Governor. Mainly blue cities yet to report.

Update 6:54 AM EST - Based on CNN tally, Lamont leads by 18,000 votes with only three locations to finish reporting, 2 are small, and the last is the State's largest Democratic Stronghold.

I think he's got it. Last big location left to report is state's biggest Democratic Stronghold.

I noticed it was slowly tightening but didn't realize he went over the top.

I wish we could get more of these governorship races shifted to presidential years. They are so vital yet we minimize opportunity by holding them in midterms.

though, I knew Lamont would close the gap due to Hartford, New Haven and Bridgeport being mostly out and West Hartford being unreported (heavy D suburb that probably had more people voting than most of the cities)
