She's still a great, effective leader after all the smoke has cleared.

4. Here's the thing about Ms. Pelosi that I had forgotten until I saw her

in that presser.

Nancy Pelosi has been a leader for a long time, she knows the government and everything about how it works and whose job is whose. She is a major party whip all by herself but she does it in such a manner that is:

A) By The Book. She is all about doing things in the fashion of the reasonably interpreted intent of the Constitution.

B) Because she goes by the book, attempts to undo what she sets in legislative stone stays over time.

C) She's a true negotiator/mediator and is of a nature that works in harmony with her position in Congress and there are few, if any, complaints among those she "works" with, on either side of the aisle, when they agree to vote with her on policy.

D) She consistently "brings it" for her constituency which is why they keep re-electing her.

With her proven experience in "bringing it" for all of us as a leader in Congress, I'm all for her driving the train right now because the legal battles we are facing in order to get rid of the shitstain will require a Nancy Pelosi in the Speaker position to keep it from falling off the rails. I trust her to do this and anticipate that she won't let us down. We can't afford on the job training on this one, it's too important, I want a seasoned Speaker when I need her most. And I think that after she helps clean up the government or at least get the train rolling past the first few stops, she will pass the torch to a protege that she will likely have right next to her all the way through this process so we will have a knowledgeable next Speaker.

She's only being demonized because she, like HRC, is so much more qualified than the next three candidates.
