(3,030 posts)is there some reason to think Nelson will win a recount? I assume Florida would have pretty reliable voting systems after the Bush-Gore fiasco.
Unfortunatlely, +2 is pretty bad for us considering that it means that Republicans don't need Murkowski and Collins' vote, and Flake is gone. So it would seem they have 50 reliable Republican votes + Pence tie-break, with a pickup of 2.

(1,919 posts)Last count I saw was Scott ahead a little over 30k votes. Recounts typically the number of votes changed in recounts are only in the hundreds. The 2000 recount was only able to cut around 1300 votes from Bush. 30k is going to be very difficult.

(10,500 posts)They took down Gillum by smearing him and calling him corrupt. At the last minute they produced "shocking new evidence," just like they did to HRC in 2016. People fell for it, just like they did in 2016. And it took down Democrats in other races, just like it did in 2016.
