The Orange Menace lost yesterday and has now successfully changed the narrative.

He’s got the media and even DU talking about Sessions. He feels lile shit and is oh so unhappy. He can’t bear to know we’re happy about last night.

So he lashes out and fires Sessions. The Dems’s fantastic, glorious night has been effectively knocked off the news. And I bet the mood of some here has been dampened.

Don’t let him do it. There doesn’t need to be 20 apoplectic threads about it here.

tRump has “controlled the narrative” for two years. He still lost the House.

He’s like a cornered wild animal now. We just need to stay vigilant and look forward to a Dem House who WILL hold him accountable.

Besides - Mueller is much much smarter. He definitely has a contingency plan for just this very thing.

5. But he got to "rough up" the media before the Sessions news dropped

He is a walking Denial of Service attack. Flood the media so nothing gets done and nothing gets any traction.

His voice and face during the presser gave that away.

Nothing has changed in my mind. Trump is acting as we figured he would. He's so predictable.

Now, every time he makes one of his moves we can wonder out loud how our majority in the House will investigate it.

8. if the narrative has changed, it's gone from a big GOP loss to the president's corruption

9. He was always going to fire Sessions

This way at least it was done after we won the House, flipped multiple governor's races, and passed progressive referendums in many states.

The firing could have been under very different circumstances had people not worked their asses off to make those things happen, and then we truly would be up shit's creek.

Not sure if the media can. Remember though all these Housecraces were very local so it will be on people's minds for a while.

And instead of sane Jeff Sessions he might have someone totally batshit stupid at AG which will make matters worse.
