Smearing our leaders
I have heard erstwhile Democrats mouthing almost every Republican lie and smear about our leaders that I have ever heard from Republicans.
Think about that.
Why would Republicans lie and smear about our leaders? Sure, they are nasty and stupid so on one level they do it because that's who they are. And they do whip themselves into a frenzy but they don't need to do that. They are already nasty and stupid and they are a cult.
The real purpose of lying about and smearing our leaders is to sow discord and discontent amongst us and to thus weaken us. We cannot control them. They do shit like this. We can absolutely control ourselves.
We have a leadership decision coming up. Be careful what you say. Let's choose our leader and support her or him. We, the base, can do a better job of being the base. You know Unindicted Co-Conspirator will stoop to new lows. We will need all of our political will, every ounce we can bring to bear to defeat this criminal.
