Butte County California fire, extremely dangerous

Paradise, CA, is burning. A wind driven fire spreading in bone dry vegetation at a shocking pace. Power has been cut off to the city, people are trapped (at least 300), a rescue convoy of fire enfines and busses is on the way, the Feather River Hospital is burning and there is no municipal water because of the fire.

Paradise (town referred to above) is about 8 miles east of Chico..a city of 93,000 in northern California..If you google Chico California you will see three distant pictures of the wildfire discussed above

Yes, I know one leads to the other. That's my point. Climate change is kicking the butt of California pretty much year round anymore.

See link below.... CBS San Francisco

“The whole lower side of Paradise is totally engulfed in flames,” evacuee Kevin Winstead told Laura EngNews on Twitter. “The Pacifica, Princeton area, Neal Road and the Feather River hospital all engulfed in flames right now.”

“Not one home will be left standing. I am devastated. We just bought a home in Upper Magalia right now, and we’re hoping that our brand-new home that we just get to move into tomorrow is not going to be burned to the ground. We’re kind of all shaking right now. So we grabbed our animals and some food and clothes and we’re getting the heck out of here.”

Hundreds of people still trapped, main road is blocked by burning vehicles, front end loader or dozer needed to push them out of the road to clear it.
