World Patent Marketing, with Whitaker on its Board, was responsible for bilking millions of dollars in a fraudulent invention patent scam. Whitaker also received payments from the company for his Senate campaign in addition to receiving commissions from this scam company.
Whitaker also acted as the company's "front man", appearing as the host of their promotional videos.
With connections like that, he'll fit right in to the tRump administration.

(7,575 posts)but do not forget that other cable news outlets have access to the same story.
Totally Tunsie
(10,885 posts)so that's why I mentioned he ran the story.
Had I watched Rachel, Lawrence and Brian tonight and was aware they also covered it, I would have given them credit. It's also possible, I suppose, that ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, and NECN also carried it, but since I wasn't watching those stations either, I don't know for sure. Why would I mention every newscaster that may have run the story? I mentioned the ONE I saw.
Is there a reason it matters? I don't see the issue.
ETA: The purpose of my OP was the news item itself, NOT who happened to run it.
