considering how bad the map was for us. So far it appears to a net 2 gain for the GOP, assuming we lose Bill Nelson and gain Kyrsten Sinema.

By all appearances, Senate Republicans are no better off than they were before the elections. The only thing I can think of that changes is that Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins lose their swing vote power (which I don’t think they used as effectively as they could have). So far, that appears to only matter when it comes to making appointments. The political pressure we can put on the two “moderates” to actually make a big outcome change on appointments go away. I’ll take that slight lose of “power” over them having the full legislative power.
