(CNN)President Donald Trump's tweet blaming "gross mismanagement" for the devastating California wildfires is sparking backlash from top firefighters' associations, politicians and celebrities.
In a series of tweets Saturday, Trump said the state's deadly wildfires are a result of "poor" forest management and threatened to cut federal aid.
"There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor," Trump tweeted. "Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!"

City parks and recreation employees found the device at City View Park, near Tramway and Copper NE around 10 a.m., police spokesman Simon Drobik said.

Police don’t know when the device was put in the park, he said.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque International Sunport was closed for around two hours earlier today after a suspicious and unattended suitcase was discovered there this morning.

Albuquerque police spokesman Simon Drobik said a bomb-sniffing dog with airport security indicated a suitcase left unattended on a baggage carousel possibly contained explosives at 9:17 a.m.

The lower floor of the airport was evacuated and an area upstairs located above the suspicious suitcase was cordoned off.
