It is good to keep these charges in the news. Just keep in mind he can only be removed by impeachment.

it appeared on my headline screen this morning...weird.

Maybe I haven't paid my Verizon bill: I'm waiting for my monthly check from Soros.

looked more but just assumed they'd still be sitting on it. Google often makes me suspect judicial decisions are stored in some distant, dusty electronic basement and it doesn't want to have to go down and search through the boxes to find them. Or maybe I just don't know the right search terms.

So, dismissal. The cowards' way out and/or inadequately principled?

Although the Rules envisage that there will be “public availability of the Chief Judge’s decision” (Rule 11(h)), that public availability is required only “after final action has been taken on the complaint and when it is no longer subject to review.” (Rule 24)

Although a partial decision might have been released, for political reasons perhaps, the usual practice would apparently suggest it's over.

Notably, those complaints didn't relate to his judicial conduct over 12 years on the bench. From what we've seen of him, it's hard to believe his record is honorable. He's both an under-principled political operative and apparently the type who's internalized decades of bizarre Clinton-conspiracy stories. (!)

I read an opinion that it was unlikely to turn into anything significant, with dismissal or a slap on the hand. Apparently the complaints would apply to his conduct as a circuit court judge and might be considered basically "sweep under the rug-able," i.e., lack jurisdiction once he'd moved to SCOTUS.

Forbes had an article suggesting 4 possible outcomes, the first giving an argument against that.

Same appointee who was on Hair Furor's long list before settling on Justice Boof.

Are these ethics complaints grounds for impeachment or will they merely result in an asterisk ?
