Once again, David Corn doesn't mince words. This is the unvarnished, disgusting truth.

Trump doesn't visit American soldiers aboard. Not when they're alive. Not when they're dead.

This review (taken from Goodreads) says it better than I ever could...

Covering the period from the mid-term elections of 2010 to 2012, David Corn offers readers a look inside the Obama Administration through a host of battles. The overall takeaway is that Obama seriously wants to be the adult in the room in DC and tries his best to fulfill that mission. There is a lot of difference between campaigning, in which you can say whatever you like, stake out whatever positions you prefer and not have to temper your rhetoric to accommodate opposition, and actually having to run the federal government. Once in office, your opponents, who might not be able to keep you from talking, can prevent you from enacting your desired legislation unless you play ball.

Those were the days...

When bush/cheney TOOK over, cheney sneered that “the adults are back in charge.”

Well m, we finally had one. AFTER those assholes left. One who cleaned up all their messes and straightened out the economy so it could grow again and we could pay down our deficit and other things you’d expect grownups to do.

Only to have an extra-large baby force his way in and start trashing the place all over again.

President Obama was a “good scout”, as in - left the campground better than he found it. This jerk now, and his lawless bunch, are doing to that campground what the fires in California are now doing.

That's why he's working for putin to help destroy it now. Everything he claims is the opposite of the truth, and why he constantly attacks our government, our military , our system of justice, and all of its people. He hates this country, then lies and claims the opposite. Putin is behind all of this.

He can't visit Afghanistan because there is no nearby Trump-branded hotel, or any other four-star hotel, for him to stay in. He might have to sleep in a barracks room made as comfortable as possible under the circumstances, and even though he'd have it to himself and probably wouldn't have to eat MREs, there would be no tanning bed, no 24-7 Fox News, and no gold toilet. But even that's not an excuse for refusing to make even a one-day turnaround where he gets off AF1, makes a cameo appearance at a base, does a photo op with a plastic turkey, gets back on AF1 after an hour or two and flies home.

Trump does not want to salute the military.
He wants the world to see the military salute him.

Will it be awkward when he refuses POWs a place in his parade?
After all, Donald does not like soldiers who were captured.

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.
