AM Joy Gave Nancy P. A Huge Shout Out This Morning

She & her three female guests each gave their choice for winner of the week. Voters and WOC were highly praised. Joy chose Nancy and gave a fulsome list of her abilities and accomplishments to which the other women chimed in with agreement. Joy also said, did not know this, that this is only the second time a DEm will be given the speakership twice in a row since Tip O'Neill. On other stations both J. Nadler and E. Cummings, both declared their unwavering support for Speaker Pelosi.

also made a point of saying that in a year of women and the gains made by them, it would be a shame to take the speakership from her and give it to a man.

Both Rice and Ryan are overly ambitious, imho, given their talent and appeal. THey along with Krystal Ball were trying to start a sort of 3rd way, economics based, organization that never went anywhere, though K. Ball did make a chunk money off the idea.

AS for here, there is a large contingent that feels the leader needs to be younger, regardless of inexperience. They're ready to cast her out as being too old and of course, a good dollop of misogyny comes into it. They seem unable to recognize her rare ability to lead such a diverse group of REps. and to get legislation accomplished. Interestingly, many are the same who feel either one of two elderly men should be president.
