It seems Our President had gone all the way over to France to see their big parade celebrating the military and then the weather forecast was including some rain so he had to stay inside instead and went all that way for nothing
I was down at the diner later, explaining how all patriotic Americans should work together to send him thoughts and prayers whenever it rains, because it is more difficult to stay out of the rain when it is raining
But then Flo came by to see if we were going to order anything or just drink coffee all afternoon and she said he doesn't like using thoughts anyway and maybe we could all send him umbrellas instead
I know Flo means well so I asked why send him an umbrella when thoughts and prayers are cheaper and easier?
So then Flo said why not we at least send a cigarette and a blindfold with the thoughts and prayers? Sometimes it is hard to understand what is in her mind because he does not smoke cigarettes because they are unhealthy so maybe a cigar might be a better choice. The blindfold I can see because it is so he does not have to see that that Nancy Fritzi speaking in case he drives by Congress by accident on his way to visit Mickey Dees. So now what I was thinking is maybe we could offer people the choice of sending him either thoughts and prayers or a cigar and a blindfold
