Beto 2020? Why some think Beto O'Rourke has what it takes to become president

O'Rourke's bid to unseat Ted Cruz in the US midterms narrowly failed –

but his audacious grassroots campaign sprinkled seeds of Democratic rebirth and has drawn whispers of a presidential run.

What is it that makes people think the Texas congressman has what it takes to get into the White House?

He will put Texas into play for the Democratic Party in 2020. The GOP is having fits!

Beto’s a young guy politically speaking. If he builds his profile right he’ll be more than ready in either 2024 or 2028.

But he has to be more than the guy who came close to winning a Senate seat but didn’t.

Hopefully he takes aim at Cornyn.
