the December 1970 issues of Marvel Comics. He was editor-in-chief then and this would have appeared on the letters page of every Marvel Comic.

eta. Wow. I have a movie on and just logged in to scan things and saw that. He did die. jeez I liked him.

2. Yes, he passed away today at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. He was a few weeks short of 96. n/t
