Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl feeds firefighters in California
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl served dinner to members of the Los Angeles Fire Department who are battling the widespread wildfires in the area.
Grohl visited firefighters at Fire Station 68 in Calabasas, Calif., according to the Chicago Tribune.
Grohl shared photos of the meal and firefighters on the Instagram page of his new barbecue project, Backbeat BBQ.
“To all the [Los Angeles Fire Department and LA County Fire Department] heroes we met last night...thank you,” Grohl wrote in the post. “It was an honor to cook for you.”
Celebrity chef Guy Fieri also cooked dinner for first responders fighting the Camp Fire, and has fed emergency responders in the past during wildfires in California.
