I know, what possessed me, right?
He was discussing with others about her bid for speaker...maybe some against her. All I could think of was he probably thinks Pelosi is overprepared , ie (smart, ready and able) but not in a good way. You know, like HRC.

(82,849 posts)According to Trump, Stacy Abrams isn't qualified to be the governor of Georgia, even after graduating Harvard Law and being in the Georgia legislature for 10 years. Not good enough for Trump's taste.
Now chucktodd, contemplating Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, a position she has held before, well, maybe she's overqualified to return to the gavel, ya know?
There's just always something in a woman's career or background or education or somewhere that's not just right for a position. But Matt Whitaker as Attorney General? What's the problem, here? Why shouldn't Rex ("Wayne Tracker" Tillerson just walk right in as Secretary of State?
For some reason, there's a different standard. If only I could figure out what it is . . .

(10,037 posts)He hates Pelosi and Hillary. I think he is a sexist and for sure he is a republican.

(32,555 posts)... and I don't believe he's "sexist" towards female journalists. Towards Democratic women in leadership positions, maybe. But not towards women in general. At least I haven't seen it.

He's obnoxious, and self-important, and he's taking up valuable space which should be given to someone worthwhile.
