Love to own it. But rather than subsidize if for private ownership Id rather donate to a museum.

On both counts. Its too beautiful to squirrel away in a private collection. I love Edward Hoppers work...always have.
And I obviously admire Hopper. But my point is that these people have close to $100 million lying around for such purchases.
There is do set value for these paintings, only the amount the super rich are willing to pay.
