Broward isn’t the last large county to finish. Palm Beach, which suffered machine meltdowns and a slew of lost ballots, didn’t make the state’s deadline. The machines could only count one race at a time, and the supervisor of elections had repeatedly said her county wouldn’t make the deadline.

A handful of smaller counties didn’t make the deadline, either. Because they didn’t finish on time, the original results reported on Nov. 10 will be counted instead.

Doesn’t bother me if a couple can’t finish if there aren’t widespread counting irregularities

...I have heard that the vote totals resort back to what they initially were before the recount?

Is that true?

Everything is still just a count.

A re-count may yet occur if the final count is close enough.

I chime in merely to point out that the GOP is working feverishly, and suing to stop votes from being counted.

Not Re-counted.

A very important distinction.

If it's anything the Florida voters can be depended on it's voting against their own interests. So we're stuck with that asshole for a long time unless of course someone ... (never mind, my post would be deleted).

Scott and Rubio. We're headed for hell.
