(16,169 posts)Broward isnt the last large county to finish. Palm Beach, which suffered machine meltdowns and a slew of lost ballots, didnt make the states deadline. The machines could only count one race at a time, and the supervisor of elections had repeatedly said her county wouldnt make the deadline.
A handful of smaller counties didnt make the deadline, either. Because they didnt finish on time, the original results reported on Nov. 10 will be counted instead.

A re-count may yet occur if the final count is close enough.
I chime in merely to point out that the GOP is working feverishly, and suing to stop votes from being counted.
