No, no misogyny there... Just grab another 'female'--maybe Mitt Romney can share his "binder". Lord, is right, Josh Marshall. Progressives wanting to dump Pelosi, aren't you proud of the very conservative MEN leading the charge? Damn.....

(18,731 posts)But we haven't even discussed or debated it yet. Anyone who says that we should consider other candidates is being shouted down, I find this disturbing.
I want to hear the case for Pelosi, and the case for others about who will be best for our chances in 2020. I have yet to hear that. All I am hearing is that the Speakership is Pelosi's right and anyone who questions that should be shouted down and called names.
A lot of freshman Dems in Congress heard made promises to their voters that they would ask for new leadership, it's how they got elected by thin margins in many cases. I expect them to keep their campaign promises and debate the Speakership vigorously. I also expect that when Pelosi is voted speaker they support her fully. But this idea we shouldn't even debate it is garbage.

(35 posts)No one can replace experience so Pelosi is the correct one then someone can be taught by her when shes ready to retire or for other reasons. I dont think its time to replace her because experience is at premium. Ryans big brother is going back home to Wisconsin.
