Other good party leadership candidates: Fudge, Lieu, Schiff, Bustos, Swalwell, and others.

For various leadership positions, these are just some good considerations.

I'm sure there are others.

The polling is clear. More Dems want some change. Nothing at all against the old guard. Bless their service and many thanks. But at least within a few years, there should be some change. It's time. And there are good EXPERIENCED people out there.

NOT one is running. And, though Fudge is "dabbling" with the idea, even her own caucus does NOT hlthe2b Nov 2018 #1

support her, nor do many of us based on her vote (one of only two) to oppose LGBT equality.

we have it. We can't just have the same old same old forever. It's time to start thinking about some new blood. Plenty in our caucus are.

There is no one who comes close to her at this point but Steny Hoyer and Jim Clyburn and both are as old as she is or OLDER. None of the younger people measure up yet. I think that Luie is a good chose, if he is mentored by Nancy before taking over in a couple of years.
