Soldiers know when they are being used. Many of them have families and I know they are cussing Trumps name. The single soldiers may not be as angry because they may see it as an adventure and they were not taken away from their families.

There is probably nothing for them to do. They will get bored quickly. They will start searching for something to do if you know what I mean. I was single when I served. If you put me in a situation like they have been put in, Look out!

When I was young I lived in Fayetteville, NC close to Fort Bragg and went to High School with army kids. After I graduated I dated a few soldiers. It was during the Vietnam war so most were deployed to Vietnam. My experiences were always pleasant and I always felt safe. Nice memories.

I hope they all survived during that war and after.

to the Border,and as of yesterday,she is totally pissed off about this deployment. First is was no food and darn limited water. Until the tents went up,they were sleeping on the Desert ground. Morale is out the window. And she was scheduled for R&R next week to join her parents for Thanks Giving.

It does remind me of an episode in the military...

I'm trying to remember who it was... it was hillarious... we cleaned the ship top to bottom... shining brass and everything... no detail was left behind... we spent two weeks cleaning EVERYTHING...

He showed up by helecopter... was on the deck for a whole 30 seconds.... and climbed onto another helicopter and left...

It's an old school trick by a lot of generals and people of rank.... because he was logged as being on our ship he got a medal for being in a combat zone...
