..in the forest. I live on 5 acres of forest and when we fire wise our land we cut all the underbrush...and over hanging stuff...about 20 feet back from the house. Thats a LOT of work. I'm sure as hell NOT going to do it to five acres....some of which is pretty vertical!

I'm guessing he has never even touched a rake or spent more than 5 minutes in any woods in his life which is why it doesn't even occur to him just how ridiculous his statements are on this.

If you clear the brush you get mud slides when it rains.

Also and most important, the brush is wildlife habitat.
