Stolen elections in FL and GA before one vote was cast

Both states still have a "Jim Crow" mentality. Both states are owned by the Republican Party.

They scrub voting lists before elections. They pass new laws regarding necessary voter IDs. They shut down polling place in minority/Democratic areas. They limit early voting days. They finance robocalls to tell people the wrong voting date and a wrong polling location. And that's just for starters. In Georgia and FL, a tested Republican vote-theft system has been in place for decades. And it will still be there in 2020. Which means the orange beast and Republican criminals could steal both states and keep control of the government.

The Dems who ran for Senator/Governor in these states this year would have won in landslides if an honest voting system had been in place. But that system does not presently exist.

Soooo, bitching aside, what can we do?

Keep fighting to convince people to vote against the know-nothings, the deluded and the haters.

Back organizations (the ACLU, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and others) who are constantly fighting the "laws" put in place by Republicans who control state legislatures. Talk to everyone you know and find a way to get through to them that voting is critical. And constantly speak out to let others know that the Republican Party is a criminal organization that is fucking them every minute of every day.

A Democrat must be put in the White House in 2020 to start restoring some semblance of democracy to America. In the meantime, FL and Georgia (that would be blue states if everyone was allowed to vote and all votes were counted) must be the focus of our efforts.

There are other states that fall into the same category. Organize. Be dedicated. Oppose the evil. They will always be there. But we need to push them back to that place where everyone knows that they are a lunatic fringe.

I've observed what appears to be "flipping" or "hacking" of DREs and tabulators since at least 2004 - likely it started in 2000.

2. FL and GA are setting up their apartheid state

where a minority ethno/political group rules over the majority and doesn't allow their political will to mean anything.

Can’t the Democratic Congress do anything about it? Are they prevented from passing voting laws to prevent the scrubbing of voter roles and also arbitrary timelines for counting votes?

7. Laws must be passed by the house and senate and

then signed by the president. Holding the house is 1/3 of what is needed.

The Republicans who control the senate are more than happy with voting laws that prevent Democrats from voting and/or keep Dem votes from being counted.

And the Orange disease in the White House is not about to sign any law that prevents his base from continuing to screw us.

.... it looks like we will be having an run off election for the secretary of state. This is Brian Kemp's old office where he launched his theft of the govenor. Dec. 4 we need every Democrat in Georgia to get out and vote. Two years is not much time but maybe we can start doing something.
