Note to new and old incoming House members. You are being gaslighted by republicans and
punked by blue dog conservative Dems and flashed by new wanna bee know nothings.
Because of the results of this most recent election it is imperative, at least to republicans, to sow discord and distrust amoungst new and current house members. There are two things republicans fear most. Number one is Nancy Pelosi, number two is a focused, coherent and craftily managed Democratic House.
Get rid of number one and you automatically get rid of number two. This house session may be one of the most important ever. It leads into the 2020 elections and the craziness that will be attendant to that spectical.
The Committees that will be doing the business of this nation need the coordination and collective leadership that someone with the experience and skills found in Nancy Pelosi. The entire country is going to be paying attention to how the next two years roll out and how the defense of our democracy is handled, trusting this to an unknown quantity, especially one pleasing to the republicans is simply a nonstarter.
Th Republican Party has become, at best, an apologetic sycophant to neo nihilistic White nationalism lead by an angry ignorant fearful narcissist. At worst it has become a criminal enterprise working with the Russian organized crime, whom Putin is the head of, to place and enable a strongman government here. It needs to be exposed and destroyed.
