Impeachment is the House's process of referring an official to the Senate for trial. The trial phase is where they decide whether you need to be removed from office.

... once the Mueller report comes out. Of course if the system worked today the way the founders intended, he would already have been impeached and put on trial.

high crimes and misdemeanors to Congress. The Constitution requires it. If the Republicans in the Senate then refuse to do their job, it becomes a referendum for the American voters for the 2020 presidential election. Americans must choose if they want our nation to be lead by a criminal, or not. And, each state must decide if they want to have representatives in Congress who follow our constitution, or not.

if the Senate doesn’t convict which the won’t. It might even empower him if he’s impeached and still remains in office.

that it would be a waste of time as the Senate would not convict. I believe if the dumpster actions rise to the level of and an impeachable offense, then duty to the Country and Constitution demands he be impeached. If the reThugs in the Senate refuse to convict, they will have to answer to history.

Spanky the assclown has many different investigations against him, his family and administration. Let them come to a boil. If Republicans don't remove him in the senate after all this it'll be political poison. The country ruled a few weeks ago they are not happy with Trump and Republicans.
