His tweet includes a full copy of the letter asking that the videos from all security cameras be sent to his counsel and the LAPD; and he waived any privacy interest; and he waived any claims in connection with the footage and the alleged incident.

ON EDIT: Jarqui just pointed me to this article about a 5 page letter Avenatti sent to the LAPD. The letter is at the link. One interesting point is that the letter says there is a security camera in the elevator -- where the woman had specifically alleged some of the abuse occurred. Avenatti's attorney claims the video shows he was calm and she wasn't crying.

Hill Reporter has obtained a copy of a letter sent from the attorneys of Michael Avenatti to the detectives at the Los Angeles Police Department who are investigating domestic violence allegations against their client by an actress and model named Mareli Miniutti.

In the hallway Miniutti claims she tried to raise the alarm by ringing the doorbell of a neighboring apartment, but that Avenatti stopped her

She says she then managed to dodge Avenatti and escape the apartment and she ran to the elevator.

Miniutti eventually got in the service elevator and Avenatti managed to get into it, too, and the pair went down to the ground floor, she alleged.

The actress claimed Avenatti begged her not to speak about the alleged attack: “[He] repeatedly begged, “Don’t Do this Mareli, don’t involve them.”

Avenatti may know that security cameras are not inany place which would have shown footage corroberting the alleged victim's account. Thus it'd be safe to say "Let's look at the all the videos!".

A very key camera would be one outside of Avenatti's apartment, if there is one.

the combination of things....the completely false TMZ article, the Jacob Wohl tweet....the RW sites posting a picture of a woman with facial injuries purported to have been caused by Avenatti....using the same photo falsely used against Keith Ellison.

I really need for something about this accusation to turn out to be actually true at this point before I become less suspicious.

Neither the defense or the prosecution will present them to buttress their case and the reason is that they are irrelevant to the case.

Avenantti either did it or he didn't. Avenanttii is claiming that his girlfriend was behaving erratically because of a medication for acne she is taking and was later convinced to call the police on him by a friend of hers. A friend of ill repute.

14. I'm baffled by the folks who automatically dismissed this.

We all should wait to pass judgement till more info comes out. It doesn't matter to me if it comes to pass that Avenattii is exonerated or condemned in the end. Right now, I nor anyone else knows enough to say with surety that he is guilty or innocent.

16. Yes, agreed. I have become more skeptical as time has gone on, however.

First the victim was supposed to be his ex-wife Lisa. She denied it. His other ex-wife denied it, too.
Now there's a third woman.But the facial injuries in the initial report have turned into scratches or irritation on her side.

And her complaint says he was attacking her in the elevator, but Avenatti's attorney specifically calls on the building to release the elevator video, along with all other videos of the incident (s).

So I'm leaning in his direction at this point. We'll see. This is just the beginning.

The alleged victim made no such claim. All she said was that they both rode the service elevator together and he talked to her. Asking her not to get others involved.

That seems to be where the alleged incident took place.
