Machines are eliminating people from jobs. Automation and AI will only increase. The schools in that state are in horrible shape. There is no way the state competes with more advanced states. It is permenently relegated to beggar state status, but that is going to end.

Instead of worrying about what women do with their bodies, voters there should focus on electing people who aren't fucking idiots, then maybe some of the state's resources can be out to effective use.

I have mixed feelings about the overall picture itself...

As a studier of war... this picture in and of itself doesn't mean she's a mean racist bitch....

Being proud of your states heritage is not always a negative...

I don't know her... So I couldn't say one way or another just what kind of person she is...

I can tell you this... during that era... Cap Lock powder guns were around... and they were not cheap... usually only well to do families ensured their son's had such weapons... I've fired them... they are cool and a huge advantage over flint locks....

The Civil War was hugely viscious... and let's just all be thankful the right side won...

I'm Union All the way... The Confederates fought with just as much bravery as the Union Did..

Many Confederates volunteered not for keeping the institution of slavery, but because of state rights and not just because they wanted slaves....

We seem to live in a weird powder keg of political correctness... but let us back off for a second and be real...

I don't HATE Republicans... I grew up thinking... the person with the best character for the Job....

I BECAME a registered Democrat, because I'm seeing a weird shift in the Republican Party that scares me.... Before that I considered myself an Independent... and free thinker... I loved Bernie Sanders...

They seemed to have decided that they no longer want to work with the American Public and DICTATE to us how we should act and behave....

We have a wannabee Dictator in Office...

I think a major strategy shift for Democrats shouldn't be in trying to shame trump and the Republicans... many have shown no shame...

Go back to BASICS!!!!...
