IMO, Card is dumb as a doorstop. It boggles my mind that MSNBC gives voice to this Trumpy bore.

to give the appearance of balance. Hugh Hewitt, for example, is such a thoroughly unpleasant and unlikable person that the audience cringes every time they see him.
I don't watch MSNBC in the morning, though, so I'm not that familiar with Andy Card.
