Leaving no stone unturned, Trump is now engaged in a food fight with the SCOTUS

@realDonaldTrump

Sorry Chief Justice John Roberts, but you do indeed have “Obama judges,” and they have a much different point of view than the people who are charged with the safety of our country. It would be great if the 9th Circuit was indeed an “independent judiciary,” but if it is why......

Sometimes we complain about lifetime appointments for federal judges, but there are times when we see why it can be a good thing. This is one of them. There's not a damn thing Tiny can do to control Chief Justice Roberts.

Judicial independence is designed to thwart would-be dictators such as yourself.

That and the other institutional controls you describe as the "deep state" are meant to prevent you from converting the USA from a constitutional democracy into a banana republic.

Like the fact that they were legally justified claims. And one reason a lot of immigration cases wind up in the 9th Circuit is because they started out in states covered by that court, notably California and Arizona.

They think of themselves as those "who are charged with the safety of our country." I recognize that screed from republicans frequently. What I see are republicans who get involved in public security matters are generally politically motivated and end up making really stupid decisions over and over because their political beliefs and prejudices trump good judgment.

Unfortunately, control freaks seek control and our cultural and societal systems have weak protections against such asshats getting into positions of power and authority. Cases in point...every republican in the Congress and Senate. Closer to home - local representatives who are republican often act privileged and entitled but rarely actually represent the people in their districts other than for their pet projects and prejudices. It's a guarantee that arrogant police officers are republicans. Or security guards...same story.

They love to be in charge but they typically suck at the jobs they take.

he placed the comma before the quote mark. and he spelled independent AND judiciary right.

in other words....

No way did he write this.

also, I'm sure trump would have capitalized the word "country"

and I'm sure he wouldn't have spelled out in its entirety Chief Justice John Roberts..... that's way to respectful.
