TRUMP WARNS: WE MAY CLOSE 'THE WHOLE BORDER' WITH MEXICO

Trump said he recently shutdown the border between Tijuana and San Diego and is considering shutting down the entire southern border.

Here’s an excerpt:

REPORTER: “Do you mean the entire border?”

TRUMP: “The whole border. I mean the whole border. And Mexico will not be able to sell their cars into the United States where they make so many at great benefit to them — not a great benefit to us, by the way.

But we’re going to either have a border or we’re not. And when they lose control of the border on the Mexico side, we just close the border. And we have a very powerful border. We built a very strong border in a very short period of time. And the military has been fantastic, the job they have done.

REPORTER: “Mr. President, what about the idea that the military may use lethal force against these migrants?”

TRUMP: “If they have to, they’re going to to use lethal force. I’ve given the OK. If they have to, I hope they don’t have to, but you’re dealing with a minimum of 500 serious criminals. So I’m not going to let the military be taken advantage of. I have no choice.

Actually, two days ago, we closed the border. We actually just closed it. We say nobody is coming in because it was out of control.”

he's lived in a vacuum his whole life...surrounded by a safety net of hires like Cohen who pay off and cover up...does anyone believe his racist daddy didn't buy him into college?...wonder who he paid to take his exams given his poor language skills and his echolalia..as repulsive as he is I do give the cretin credit though... he had enough savvy to create this persona of a larger than life great businessman and sell it to the media..as far as losing his mind...how do you lose what you never had??

He is rude, and crude, lies a lot, dislikes foreign immigrants of non-European origin,
has low morals and cheated on all his wives.

But insane person can not defeat a very smart woman like Hillary and win an electoral victory.
I have known people who were insane, and they can not carry out any task requiring lot of
time and work, such as running for presidency.

what would you call someone who doesn't know a lie from the truth...someone who is the center of his own universe..who is alway the hero/victim but never the cause or the catalyst...someone who has total disregard for human life..someone who is incapable of empathy/sympathy only apathy and rage... playground bully, hurling juvenile insults and threats of revenge when his motives are questioned? to say he is a wannabe dictator/autocrat is too simple...I stand by insane...I had a sister who was very much like Trump..the star in her own play so to speak...dare to challenge her and the name calling and threats of harm would spew from her mouth but mollify her, pander to her insanity and she was your best friend...until you crossed her, questioned her self-serving motives and then get out of the way...and then two days before her 52 birthday she walked into her garage and blew her brains out...cunning/sly/savvy...but still insane..that's trump

Close the entire border with Mexico? Does he understand exactly what that means? The impact on trade and economically?

He is an absolute idiot and not smart at all....and as a person who went to Wharton, I am ashamed that they gave Trump a diploma....

Here we are, a nation where almost all of us got here through immigration, and he spends Thanksgiving talking about closing the border.
>Actually, two days ago, we closed the border. We actually just closed it. We say nobody is coming in because it was out of control.”

WTF is he talking about? Does he realize that people go back and forth over that border every day, and "closing" it would pretty much destroy the economy in Texas and other states?

And it didn't happen anyway. He just makes these things up.

And he has already killed the Soybean market. Might as well finish off the corn market by closing Mexico to the commodity.

These are the automakers that have plants in Mexico

GM has four factories.
Ford, FiatChrysler and Nissan all have three
Honda and Volkswagen each have two
Mazda and Toyota each have one

Upcoming factories: Kia and BMW

There are also a LOT of Mexican auto parts factories. All of them belong to companies not based in Mexico.

Or live in Mexico because they can't afford to live in San Diego and put up with the 2 hour border wait to get to and from work each morning and night.

It will impact people who can only afford to go to Calexico or Tecate or TJ for their medical needs - especially dentistry, which can be f'n expensive for those who are genetically prone to cavities as there's typically a cap to annual dental coverage in most plans. There's some very good GPs in the Mexican Border towns - far more than are typically available in the U.S., and availability of authorized prescriptions for some issues tend to be more diverse - so lots of U.S. citizens will use Mexican doctors for the regular, non-critical health care. So what if they have to wait an hour at the border - they don't have to wait a month or two for an in-network GP to have an opening or go to a clinic for a rushed check-up along with everyone else and then wait a couple weeks to get an opening for any labs or tests; they can go see their doctor for a leisurely half-hour or so, and get their labs and other tests done within an hour at the same clinic.
