Yesterday was one when during the campaign, I think, he said that he loves Saudi Arabia because they bought many properties from him. And no one ever shouted "conflict of interest?"
Ans his attacking the "Obama President"
And mocking the "Global warming."
Are there no decent Republicans left who will call on him? Among the ones still holding office, that is?

(47,470 posts)All of them were against him during the primaries. And we occasionally see clips of them - Lindsey Graham Exhibit A.
But the voters spoke and there was nothing they could do. As a matter of fact, even among themselves they could not decide whom they detested more, or whom they feared more for being a president: Trump or Cruz.
I remember, though, one of their lawyers appeared once on Matthews and tried to suggest how the delegations to the convention could do something but in the end, they really could not. I don't think that even if they had their own Super delegates, the way we have, could not have helped.
And, of course, once he got in, they got their judges, they got their "tax reform" and, as he declared, the ones who did not "embrace" him lost.
Still, there are senators who did have to defend their seats. Can't they at least say that the White House is not the family Trump ATM?
I think that it was the WSJ editorial, that really really did not like him, suggested that the RNC should have reigned on the clowns car at the beginning, but am not sure about that.
But I do hope that some would follow Heidi Heitkamp and will say that they have to look in the mirror. And maybe the admiration to him will subside.
