Howard Dean Roasts ‘Crackpot Conspiracy Theorist’ Corey Lewandowski: Why Would You Buy a Book From Him?

Just after Corey Lewandowski made a plug on Fox News for his new book calling President Donald Trump the victim of a deep state conspiracy, former Vermont Governor Howard Dean turned to rival MSNBC to roast the commander in chief’s 2016 campaign manager as nothing more than a crackpot.

Speaking to host Alex Witt Sunday, Dean wasn’t surprised that the book, Trump‘s Enemies, which was authored also by Trump’s former deputy campaign manager David Bossie. “These are basically sort of crackpot conspiracy theorists, of which there are many in the Trump administration who are lapdogs for Trump, so what do you expect them to write?” Dean said.

Dean brushed off the idea that White House insiders were plotting against Trump, contending that there are people who in fact enjoy their careers within the administration, and that the president is simply upset that they’re “trying to do the right thing.”

“To create a deep state conspiracy out of that — why would you read a book by somebody like Corey Lewandowski or even buy it for God sakes?” Dean asked.

Giving his final thoughts on the book, the former governor dismissed it as reading material that people in Washington “buy so that they can talk about it at the dinner party.”

“It has absolutely no effect on the future of the country whatsoever.”

3. This book will be at the Dollar Store in a couple of weeks

... or maybe even the GoodWill Stores. I don't know why anyone would pay full price for his book, when they can get it for almost free. But the real point is, why waste one's precious time reading it? There are so many good books out now that are really telling the truth.
