He is claiming Mueller is offering a plea to perjury in exchange for cooperation.
That is highly unlikely.
If Corsi did commit perjury then Mueller knows it and what it was about, which means, they do not need Corsi for that information.
The other reason a plea deal would be desirable for the prosecution is that Corsi knows something that they can't get from direct evidence or from anyone else who is cooperating doesn't know. At this point, that is unlikely given who we know who is cooperating.
Finally, the prosecution would never offer a deal without the suspect coming forward to cooperate and that never happens unless the prosecution has presented them with overwhelming evidence of charges against the suspect.
If Mueller is going to charge Corsi, they likely already have and Corsi is going to go down the road that Manafort did. Corsi should ask Manafort how that worked out.

(50,530 posts)Perjury is about the mildest charge they can hang on Corsi. In exchange for helping Mueller get the people he really wants - Don Don, Uday, Husay and Jarvanka - a plea bargain will net him a few weeks in a satellite camp and no stain on his lower-than-whale shit reputation.
Since he wont take the deal, Mueller is now free to lock him up for life.
