Cleveland school security guard charged in rape of East Tech High School students

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland Metropolitan School District security guard is accused of raping several students at East Tech High School.
Derrick Dugger, 29, is charged with rape, a first-degree felony. He is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail on $300,000 bond after his first court appearance on Saturday.
Dugger is accused of raping and sexually assaulting several of the students at the high school, according to court records.
A Cleveland police sex crimes detective wrote in court filings that several other students have reported sexual assaults to the school district and that it’s “anticipated” that more will come forward, according to court records.
