Trump, STILL screwing contractors: AZ airport wants $13K reimbursement for Martha McSally "rally"

Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, which was the site of one of President Donald Trump’s pre-midterm election rallies in October, is attempting to recoup the $13,000 in emergency funds it had to pay for extra lighting after the campaign failed to make good on providing it for the safety of rally-goers.

According to AZCentral, the October rally was part of an effort by Trump to boost the candidacy of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Martha McSally who lost the previously GOP-held seat to Democrat Kyrsten Sinema.

The report states Airport Executive Director Brian O’Neill informed the airport authority about the emergency expense saying the airport and city of Mesa was forced to use emergency funds when Trump’s people didn’t follow through on their promises related to the rally held in a private hangar for the GOP candidate.

In an email, Mesa spokesman Kevin Christopher said the airport spent the $13,000, but said that they were still compiling costs related to the event which was attended by a reported 6,000 locals inside with an additional 6,000 left outside where the lights were needed.

According to the report, the airport has requested reimbursement, with AZCentral stating they had contacted Trump’s campaign officials but received no comment.

Trump banned from using public services unless paid up front. Minimum of $50,000 deposit per rally, up front, in cash. Trump may not be allowed to use government funds. All of his rallies should be paid personally by Trump, in cash or in gold.

The airport had better look into a temporary surcharge on landing fees. Trump will not pay them a cent.

You know, the debt collectors.

Give them a reward of $1 million for getting Trump to turn over his assets.

I've had to deal with a few. They were not nice. I legally settled all my debts, and try to keep myself debt free.

I was supporting a theater group in New York once, and there was some tiny city tax I never knew about. They sent their notices to the wrong address, so I never saw them. Suddenly two years later, some shady outfit in New York finds my Dallas address and demands $150,000. I had never heard of them, so I asked a cousin of mine who happens to be a judge on the tax court up there. She knew them, said they tried to shake down her husband (mistaken identity, and he had no clue what was going on) for some outrageous sum as well until she sicced the City on them. I had a friend contact the state tax board who said I owed them a couple of hundred bucks. I gave them my correct address, sent them a check, and that was that. Poor debt sharks never got their $150,000, boo-hoo. I'd love for some crooks like that to be put on Trump's tail, because in HIS case, they know there's some money to chase, and some legitimacy to the claim. Let them fight it out with the Secret Service at the White House gates.

Let them go at their own risk. If someone snaps their neck, we'll just chalk it up to natural selection.
