Michelle Obama's book, "Becoming" is a must read

I started it last night and even the introduction was delicious.

Other ex-First Ladies have written books (that were actually written by other people who write books).

No one helped Michelle write her book: -- How much help does a lawyer who graduated from Princeton and Harvard need?

You've gotta' get a copy. Go to the library, go to Amazon, or go to wherever it is you get books, but this is one you don't want to miss.

IMO, Michelle Obama has great things ahead of her. She's not interested in politics or running for office. So what do I mean by "great things?" Well, some of the greatest people in history have accomplished more than any elected politician.

I'm going to go out on a firm limb here and compare Michelle Obama to Eleanor Roosevelt: Both were/are hated by bigots, fools and know-nothings; Both were/are loved by countless of millions of decent people who believe in a better world; Both were/are people who did/will use their positions to make our planet a better place; And both were/are independent First Ladies who were/are far more than just the wives of presidents; Both had/have their own agendas and their own beliefs/values.

And in comparing Michelle Obama to Eleanor Roosevelt, I'm saying that Michelle is not about to disappear from the public light. I'm saying that her greatest accomplishments are yet to come. I'm saying that this wonderful woman is going to make a difference. I believe that the next Democratic president will call upon her to, in some way we cannot yet see, improve the human condition.

There's not enough room here to state Eleanor Roosevelt's contributions to humanity, so Google her.

And do yourself a favor and read Michelle's book, "Becoming." The title itself tells us that she's still growing as a human being. And the best of her is yet to come.
