I'm not surprised by this new climate report, and I'm just as deeply worried about our climate as ever. The report, released on Friday by the US government, proves us right -- we are facing catastrophe if we don't act.

We must take action. And that is why I am calling for the 2020 election to be a referendum on climate change. Every vote we cast must be cast in the spirit of ending climate change. Every candidate we elect must believe in a 100% clean energy future. Every step we take must be toward a new, fossil-fuel-free economy.

No matter how much Donald Trump ignores it, climate change is here. The blunt truth is that people are dying. Fires are burning thousands of people's homes and livelihoods. Hurricanes are pummeling our communities and floods are washing away neighborhoods.

1. He is: re-election as Washington's governor...

He may dip a toe into the presidential race, but I’d be surprised if he threw himself into it totally, to the point of giving up his current position to pursue it.

3. I like Inslee, but I don't see him getting the nomination. Partly due to age.

Only 3 of the 45 presidents have been over 65 when taking office. 34 of the 45 have been 58 or younger.
