That says a lot about how she's grooming those younger to eventually take over. PoindexterOglethorpe Nov 2018 #1

Is she saying that would-be leaders should build a resume of work, gather supporters and recruit allies into a coalition, get down in the trenches doing the grunt work of party building, assist other members in getting elected, and win re-election a few times? That's just nuts! Ain't nobody got time for that.

waiting for the mama leader to come feed them. Because that's what lady leaders are supposed to DO, I guess, according to this unnamed NYT reporter.

That's characterizing someone's stance, not neutrally describing it. Unless you can point me to reporters who talk about male leaders in Congress regarding whether they nurture future leaders or not—?

These are all things that should be done. The problem is we have a lot of these younger critters that don't take advice from anyone because they won and they think they own the world.

Even in the early 2000’s after forcing herself to a vote for Whip, the men in the party asked he what women Congress Members wanted and they would take the issues up. Of course assuming she would stand down. Fuck that.

You want it, fight for it. And Nancy never threatened anyone with republican cooperation. She just built her support with level headed pragmatism.

But cross her at your own risk.

We owe her our upcoming majority status.
