The Trump voters dragged us into a realm of sheer madness.

It's like we are desperately searching for a way out and we find all the exits being blocked. I feel like I have been wrongly institutionalized, being sane in an insane asylum.

For the rest of my life I will say this to Trump voters. You followed Trump for the promises he made to you, instead you should have asked yourself what good are the promises of an unstable serial liar.

I hear people all the time saying that we need to reach out to Trump voters, but I say that if they are still supporting him, you could lose a hand doing that.

Those who still believe in him are not going to accept any wrongdoing on his part or believe anyone who criticizes him. He could grab p*ssy all day long and cap it off by shooting someone on 5th Avenue and they would think it was just fine.

Comey and 3 decades of relentless attacks against our nominee won't be factors in 2020, even if voter suppression and Russia continue to be.

I don't think we'll nominate a white male who will be in his late 70s. Especially given Biden's Thomas-Hill hearing past and penchant for gaffes.

Only 3 of the 45 presidents have been over 65 when taking office. None over or close to 75. The vast majority have been 58 or younger.

Joe Biden is our best candidate for winning the Electoral College contest by a very wide margin.

The Russian disinformation campaign on facebook alone reached many times more people than the number of voters that pushed the Crybaby Don over the top for electoral votes.

That about sums it up for me. We of course make excuses for family again and again.

Today from this woman about Evangelicals and how she was raised all of her life to believe the republican party was sent by god and how because of Trump she left the church and is an activist now trying to show others the truth.

I was glad to see the article make it on their front page. It really explains how when you are brought up in a privileged bubble and surrounded by a community thats supports your belief system how hard it is to get out of that.

For her it was many things the pussy thing T said, the borders and not helping the poor, but it hit home when they changed law and she has a child that needs extra medical care.

I really think people don’t change until something personal happens.

Trump is a symptom. As Obama said, the GOP "has been feeding their base all kinds of crazy for years."

I worry we'll see the rise of Trump 2.0, a more intelligent and charismatic demagogue.

I know the Trumpies are loud and brash, making their numbers seem greater, but there weren't even enough of them to properly elect the jackass. Don't let them treat you like you're the one who's fucked up.

Clearly, those too ignorant or vengeful to comprehend the dangers of a Trump administration beforehand bear some responsibility.

But far greater shame belongs to the Republican congress and senate (prior to this month’s elections) for allowing, enabling, protecting and supporting Trump and his acolytes and advisors (Bannon et al) unswervingly during his first two years in office.

Things were horrible for the American people from the get-go in January 2017. Shredding the ACA. Threatening mere political opponents with prison. Granting pardons to right-wing convicted criminals. Refusal to denounce neo-nazis. All the Putin public ass-kissing. Calling the free press “the enemy of the people.” Jacking up the debt to hand a gift to the wealthy. Ignoring or denying science. And a daily spewage of lies so outrageous that it must be some kind of record for an American president.

In the face of these and other atrocious anti-American behaviors, there hasn’t been one single peep from the Republican Party at large. By all appearances, they love this monster. He’s THEIR monster, and they allow him pass, after pass, after pass.

Republicans turned a blind eye and deaf ear regarding Trump’s Russia collusion, his criminality in numerous monetary and political arenas,, and his attacks on the nation’s traditional democratic processes. At what point did all this become acceptable to the Republican Party? They’ve been on the wrong side of things for a century now, but Trump is a quantum-jump into unending disasters, whether diplomatic, economic or social. But even that fact isn’t enough to push Republicans to say, “enough, Trump is hurting America, he must go.”

Party before country? It’s pretty damned obvious.
