Wisconissippi! Here we go...the state of Wisconsin elected a New Democratic governor while

keeping the heavily gerrymandered Republican legislature in place. So to honor the wishes of the citizens the republicans are going to hold a special session to hamstring the incoming governor and as long as they are at it they plan on screwing over the citizens of the state via taxes, education, voting rights and who knows what else.

The crime family known as the Republican Party is in full swing here in Wisconissippi. How sad if it wasn’t so typically criminal, immoral of the right wingers here in wisconissippi.

Remember this is the same state who has an entire state male class nazi saluting bunch of fools as our latest example of state pride.

Unless they try to give themselves sole reapportionment powers as well.

and Wisconsin was hailed by the Left and by people all over the world. I was there for the largest demonstration and we would get pizzas delivered having been order from all over the country and even the world. Then when our recall of Walker failed due largely to the Law of Unintended Consequences, so many on the Left here threw the entire state of Wisconsin under the bus.
Wisconississippi, how clever.

But then again at the time of the midterm elections of 2010 when Walker was elected,
Wisconsin was entirely controlled by the Democrats in holding the governorship, the state legislature, and senate. That election totally flipped the state to Republican control.
Why? Because too many on the Left didn't bother to show up for that election while Republicans voted like it was their duty. Walker received nearly 90% of the vote that went to McCain in the 2008 presidential election while his Democratic opponent Barrett on got around 65% of the vote that went to Obama. Oh, and Russ Feingold also lost the Senate seat.

Since 2010 was a census year, that allowed the Republicans to redistrict and gerrymander the state to assure their staying in power and they still are to this day and that will take years to change and it was unrealistic to expect it to flip in this last election even though Walker was defeated.

driving to Madison from La Crosse, and then I went the following Friday when the crowd was comparatively small and took my 19 year old goddaughter. I had a complete "V for Vendetta" Guy Fawkes costume which she wore because I couldn't wear the mask with my glasses on and I can't see without them. Lots of people asked to have their picture taken with her and they never knew it was a girl underneath the costume. In the capitol building a crowd had her talk to them and you couldn't understand much of what she said because she had lost her voice but she did a lot of arm waving and that was good enough for them.
