(14,249 posts)I love MSNBC, but it's not like their weekend programming of pundits talk talk talking is cutting edge journalism. While I often enjoy the discussions, it's not like the coverage of President Bush's death is forcing us to miss anything important.

I suspect she had a full weekend of analysis and commentary on everything that happened this past week - G20, Manafort, Cohen, etal - and was not prepared to praise a Bush at all.

(14,565 posts)Anyone who didn't understand how the death of a former president would be handled has apparently never paid any attention to previous examples.
As soon as the death was announced the regularly scheduled programming on stations like CNN and MSNBC wasn't going to happen...for days. That's why I immediately started watching old sporting events on DVR.
