because he is the candidate who can best beat Obama. Blitzer is a boob. Why don't they point out that Romney has gotten the same percentage of the vote and almost the same vote total as he did four years ago? He can't expand his base. He is running even with a guy who didn't spend nearly as much money or had the name recognition that comes from running for president continually for six years.

That Romney isn't finishing any better than last time and it's a sign that his support is weak. I flipped by there once and he was on it. Then once again and he was on it again. The only times I heard him talk all night were to make that same point.

The MSM is pushing Romney but it's for actually for three reasons.

1) Establishment Republicans in the MSM want him because he's their man.
2) Dems in the MSM want to hedge their bets. If a Republican does win, they want it to be a comparatively moderate one.
3) Everyone in the media wants a tight race that will keep people watching and the CW seems to be that Romney is the best candidate for that.

can't stand him. The libertarians are wary of him. He represents only the country clubbers. Wolf is blowing smoke out of his ass.
