I really think we should discontinue using "GOP."

It's an acronym that has truthfully not applied to the Republican party since just after Lincoln, if then, and it paints them in a positive light by association.

I personally use the term "BOP," where the B is purposefully left undefined so that the reader can use his imagination. I would encourage everyone to replace all uses of "GOP" with "BOP."

Thus has it ever been in the political realm: define, or be defined.

I like repuke because I think their form of conservatism is the epitome of Proverbs 26:11 "As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly." This I think covers all of their faults.
