The Trump trade war with China and his tariff taxes could lead to a great depression.

This will be worse than the 2007-08 Great Recession.

During that recession China did not suffer. In fact their capitalist economy grew faster than any other nation in the world and that has continued up until now.

They will come out of a Trump depression stronger than ever and their living standards will soon will much higher than in the United States.

We are buying much more than the domestic economy can produce because of the globalization of capital. So if you want a TV and other stuff you have to import the stuff or go without.

I've been asking people a simple question. What is the greatest danger to America, a "communist" China and Russia or a "capitalist: China and Russia. If you're an American capitalist you might prefer a "communist" China and Russia because you wouldn't have to compete with them on the world market.

Of course, they now have lucrative investment and sales opportunities, especially in China a nation of 1.3 billion people, that they didn't have before.
