Trump made one of the biggest mistakes you can ever make.

He pissed off the law. Trump has attacked, mocked our entire justice system. People who dedicate their lives to the law take those attacks personally. The southern district of New York and others will never stop investigating Trump until they ruin him, his family and his entire organization.

Trumps biggest problem is not impeachment. It's tax fraud, bank fraud, etc.

1. Most Of The Media Ain't Too Pleased, Either

Now, the execs are happy because ratings, but the actual on the ground reporters are pretty upset.

No matter whether SHS tries to spin that PINO meant "FAKE NEWS" is the enemy of the people, nobody believes that the intent wasn't to paint journalists themselves as the enemy.

I'm pretty sure no journalist considers themselves the enemy of the people. I'm not a journalist, but it would make me mad.

And the Republicans hated me ... a very red rural area ... I have had my life threatened several times, been assaulted, and have had many threats to be sued ... all for printing public information...

I cannot express my utter disgust for the continuing assaults on our media and journalists.

35. But they have to recognize it as truth to be forced to make that decision.

And they don't. (At least those in the base who are fully propagandized.) They are able to categorically repudiate truth without examining it.

That is the tragedy of a cult.

I don't know how America is going to get past the problem we currently have with the RW propaganda; the culmination of a forty year effort to distort reality.

40. Taking back the media is a hard thing

I was always underfunded and overworked...

Many reasons .. too few local businesses... because of the death of small town America (thanks squallmart) leads to a lower revenue base ... making it impossible to be able to hire full time help ... so, ten years with no down time ... no vacation ever ... I put one paper out from the hospice room of my dying mother ...

I don’t have many answers, but I do see the big picture ... it could be done, but there must be some additional support

went from STLMO to Lebanon/Buffalo/Bennett Springs/Lake of the Ozarks area (my family and I were from these areas). Full of news about local area which I craved. I totally understand your difficulties though, being unable to generate enough to hire help, working nonstop for 10 years as you say. One of the biggest and saddest things I see is the demise of the 'small town' downtown districts, as you say, Walmart's destroyed a lot of these businesses.

You gotta kiss babies and make people like you...not just the people who say nice things. You can't be a petulant whine-bag and expect people to just give you whatever you want.

(Under ideal circumstances,) Politicians make compromises that make everyone happy. There is give-and-take in "dealmaking". DJT is a spoiled bully who isn't very good at that unless it involves arm-twisting "Do this or it will be bad for you!"

75. Republicans seem to think...

that businessmen are the ultimate choice for a president. They think government can, and should, be run like a business. Wrong! We had our "first MBA president" with G.W. Bush, a total disaster. President Obama cleaned up his messes just in time for businessman number two to steal another election, "the best negotiator in the world", Donald Von Fuckface. Experts aren't really sure if a Democrat will be able to repair the damage done by this "Wharton School" dullard.

Trump's main problem (out of a seemingly bottomless pit of problems) is that he honestly believes he's the smartest man on the planet, and that his "gut" is a better judge of situational data than sober, measured, educated thought. Him and his fucking "gut'!

Trump is not a "people person", as he likes to think. He's only a "people person" in his mind if those people are fawning sycophants who shower him with praise. The slightest bit of conflict and he falls to pieces.

Our government is in total disarray thanks to the "businessman" who was going to run our country like a business. Trouble is, Trump was lousy at business (with at least four bankruptcies to prove it), and he was the worst choice anyone could have promoted as a viable candidate for president. The Russians liked him though, and look who we have as "president".

69. Attacking law enforcement & media is an old mob tactic

Attacking law enforcement and the media is nothing new.
Al Capone did it in 1920’s, John Gotti in the 1980’s.
Ever eccentric mob boss, has used this tactic successfully until they are finally brought down.
Make no mistake Donald Trump is his own mob boss and the Trump
Corporation is a criminal organization.
However only because Trump was elected president, he’s doing it on a much bigger scale.
It’s a common flamboyant criminal, PR coping method, to tell the public;
“love me, I’m one of you & law enforcement and the media are lying to you and picking on me. “
Anyone who’s lived in the beltway and been in business has known for decades Donald J Trump was a con man.
Why do you think he didn’t win any beltway states?
The Justice Department is not gunning for him, they are just doing their job.
The media is not out to get him either, they too are just doing their job.
He most likely could have continued to commit crimes until he died but running and winning as President put a spot light on himself.
Now the chickens are coming home to roost and his days are numbered.
His die hard core followers are only about 25% of the voters.
Yes they are the loudest and yes they will scream louder when he goes down but like Capone’s and Gotti’s followers they’ll eventually get over it.
We are getting close to the end and his”witch hunt”, Blame the Democrats, Blame the DOJ, Blame the media, deflection tactic will not save him in the end.

Pissing off the Americans who will determine if the Russians and his campaign were involved with each other is not too smart.

I agree that his financial crimes, that he probably hid with payoffs, should be fairly easy to find and prove - as the guilty pleas for the financial crimes of Manafort and Cohen suggest.

The beauty there is that not only can he face jail time, they can fine him and snatch his assets for restitution. Cohen and Manafort lost millions - Trump will probably dwarf them.

but the M$M is corporate controlled right wing. Democrats face an uphill battle because of the right controlling the narrative. Not releasing his taxes should have been a major issue. The fact that he was an admitted sexual pervert, assaulter, accused rapist, should have been a major issue.

We have a lot of good journalists in the M$M, but most of the time they can only report on what the narrative is.
I have said this before, Fox News says Obama beats his wife, CNN says they need more information, MSNBC says no he doesn't. It doesn't matter what CNN and MSNBC say because they are talking about Obama beating his wife.

The narrative, one of them, going on now is that we can't talk about impeachment, it will be bad for Democrats and Republicans. I defer to Auntie Maxine, impeach the sob.

45. It must be tearing the FBI apart that they have to investigate GOP crimes.

And be honest about it.

76. Jackpot..!!!!!!!!! You have hit the Jackpot..all goes to you....millions, and millions and millions

of????????

HE CAN'T KEEP HIS FUCKING MOUTH OR TWITTER SHUT...!!!!!!!

....It ain't complicated.....no....Simple...Shut the fuck up..!!!! .........very short story.....

I taught in a high school in a large city near me. History, History, History..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I learned a very significant lesson teaching history...Hay, Mr. G. we got to talk sometimes.......
....It ain't all about you...we might have an idea or two...the students let me know in many ways.....
.........YES THEY DID..!!!!! GUESS WHAT?.......THEY WERE RIGHT,CORRECT, ON THE BALL, HONEST.
.......100 PERCENT, SMART, BRILLIANT, SUPER DUPERS. TELLING THE TOTAL TRUTH.....

It wasn't all about me...After a while, I learned that the students often were smarter than me on some things...
Yes, they were.......And if I listened, I would learn a whole lot..!! If I listened, we would all learn a whole lot. Yes, sometimes a student could teach us (rest of the class) something we need to know.
.........Mr Trump has not learned that one....He cannot shut the fuck up, and listen....
.........It doesn't matter why he does this, but a leader of any large endeavor, if he is to be effective...
.........MUST LISTEN SOMETIMES....Trump is still in his first year of teaching/listening...he cannot
.........shut the fuck up.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He’s a compulsive talker and that trait will help bring about his downfall.

52. And since he's pissed off law enforcement, I wonder when the democrats take over the House...

Of Representatives, what secrets will then come forth? After all, w/ the sham hearings that the repugs held constantly on HRC and supposedly on Comey/Russian investigations, what truths will be revealed finally?!

I got a feeling some serious crap w/ finally be told.

57. Trump may just want to see the world burn, like The Joker in Dark Knight.

Not that he isn't pissed off about potentially having to face consequences. But I also think there's a lot of gamesmanship and theater taking place.

65. Not to mention the intelligence community. "Believing" Putin over them. Although we all know

he didn't actually believe Putin because he knew the truth all along, although sometimes i wonder if his brain is such that he convinces himself that what he wants to be true actually IS true.

68. The DOJ & Media don't take it personally! It's not NEW!

It’s a common flamboyant criminals, PR coping method, to tell the public;

The bastard needs to be removed from our White House—along with Pence.

78. So you are saying that if "the law" likes you, they will

Let things slide that they wouldn’t if they didn’t like you. If they don’t like you they’ll never stop investigating you until they ruin you?

Funny, some republicans have been saying that for years now. It’s what they call the “deep state”.
