A telling quote from Schwartz, tRump's ghost writer in today's LA Times:

While his difficulty filling the job highlights the president’s isolation, Schwartz, Trump’s ghost writer, said Trump almost certainly doesn’t agree.

“He doesn’t feel the ordinary human emotions most of us do,” he said. “For example, he’s free of shame because he has no conscience, nor any self-awareness. So while his behavior certainly suggests he feels increasing fear and isolation, he would be the last one to know it."

1. Yes, Trump would be "the last one to know" because he does not know anything at all.

9. do you know do you know do you know

there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know

That's the consensus among mental health professionals who have weighed in on Trump.

33. Yep, and one of the psychiatrists who signed Duty To Warn

said that he is also a sadist. The person running the country is all three. Not a good thing! It is dangerous for a leader of a powerful country to have 3 severe personality disorders.

I wonder what king of trouble his parents were buying him out of when they shipped him off to military school.

6. His brain may not be aware of his behavior but his body is going to feel it.

When his face got beet red yelling at Chuck Schumer his brain may have not related his actions to anger and frustration but his blood pressure certainly reacted.

7. Without the ability to think logically he has very few channels of "feeling" -- being attacked,

challenged, dismissed, diminished. The lights and sirens in his brain go off, and he's in red-faced defensive anger mode, where the only response is striking out with name-calling, lying, and self-promotion.

What a pathetic excuse for a human being. As a country, we didn't deserve this. My list of who and what to blame is long.

The other day he threw his folder of papers after leaving the mtg with Schumer-Pelosi. He may be breaking lamps and stuff.

8. Awhile ago I realized there *are* human emotions he feels, but they are all categorized under...

...the Seven Deadly Sins. Rage, Lust -- all of those emotions and behaviors, unrestrained and unrepentant.

The old-time Roman Catholic Church that categorized them realized how very destructive they are both to the individual and those around him, and their theology consigned such people to an afterlife in Hell.

Nowadays we psychologize such people, and/or lock them up in prison if they go too far off the rails -- but I believe that Hell is a thing we create in ourselves as well. Trump and those around him are in a Hell of their own creation.

It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

He feared having to go to Vietnam.
He fears having to fire staffers face to face.
He feared 2 scandals were about to be made public just before the election he stole.

13. The dark triad. I have been saying this for a long time

DARK TRIAD

The dark triad in psychology refers to the personality traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy,[1][2][3][4] which are called "dark" because of their malevolent qualities

14. Sounds about right

People scoring high on these traits are more likely to commit crimes, cause social distress and create severe problems for an organization, especially if they are in leadership positions (for more information, see psychopathy, narcissism, and Machiavellianism in the workplace).

17. I have known in my life, two people who were raised in extreme wealth.

Neither felt ordinary human emotions.

It makes you less than human when you grow up with people kissing your butt because your parents have oodles of money.

Many people envied these guys. I felt sorry for them, since they had no idea what it was to be a human being.

I know the type, but Trump deserves no compassion. He is not only destroying our country; he is destroying our world.

18. He fears being poor..he fears being a 'nobody' He fears being ignored and invisible

He equates money with power & he also equates fame with power. Those are things he fears losing. For the price of a red baseball cap he was able to fool his followers that he was just like one of them. It's pathetic and sad when you think about it. it was his disguise and I'm sure he has laughed his evil ass off about it. So cheap was his admission into their hearts . Which makes the biggest joke of all on his followers because he never would have thought them good enough to wipe his feet on.

21. I'm not a doctor but I play one on the internet.

I know that Trump is a narcissist but I have to say I think his body is full of cortisol. Yeah that's the hormone that becomes activated in the fight or flight syndrome. Check out the symptoms of having too much cortisol, it sounds like Trump to me.

He definitely has a problem or problems. He has always been an asshole, narcissist, but in recent years he's changed. He's off. That's my internet doctor's diagnosis.

34. He is but a stranger to himself.

Stranger To Himself (Jim Capaldi / Steve Winwood)
Struggling with confusion, disillusionment too
Can turn a man into a shadow, crying out from pain

[Chorus]
Through his nightmare vision, he sees nothing, only well
Blind with the beggar's mind, he's but a stranger
He's but a stranger to himself

[Verse 2]
Suspended from a rope inside a bucket down a hole
His hands are torn and bloodied from the scratching at his soul

Never has this song been more apropos than now.
